Zahra Foundation was established in 2014 for over 250 underprivileged children living in the slums of New Delhi. Since then, it has been engaging volunteers by giving them valuable life experiences and providing them with the satisfaction of having contributed towards the development of the society. The organisation conducts baseline surveys on the ground to understand the difficulties faced by the people at grassroots level and then work towards finding a solution and implementing it. They seek volunteers in different fields of work and train them for whatever situations or challenges they may come across. They also suggest efficient ways to deal with them. Volunteers are acknowledged for their hard work and generosity and often are even rewarded for it. This makes them feel appreciated and motivates them to continue volunteering and make a difference to others.
