Vaishnavi lives by the motto of ‘the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.’ She volunteered with Project ‘Inaayat’ to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and economical means to avail sanitary napkins among women from rural areas. Knowing eight out of ten women wash their napkins before disposal, it was easy for them to convince the women to use the provided kits. To accomplish this mission, Vaishnavi collaborated with ‘Days For Girls’, an international NGO successfully working in 110 countries. Project ‘Jalvruddhi’ also enabled her to assess water conditions and solutions proposed by the government. While working for Project ‘Aajeevika’, Vaishnavi helped women who stitched bags in Wada sell them on retail and corporate platforms. She wishes to start a social entrepreneurship that provides financial literacy at minimal cost.
