Sapna Mittal has been mentoring more than 100 girls form the vulnerable sections of society for the past six years. During this epoch, she started working as a financial planning analyst where she introduced the Shalini Fellowship Program to the CSR, which later gained momentum on a national level with Ameriprise Financial. With Udayan Care, Sapna initiated the Mentor-Mentee program and thanks to her leadership, elected mentors from the organisation periodically visit the centre to counsel over 40 young girls in the field of finance, education and career. Volunteering provides Sapna with an opportunity to help and motivate others to achieve their full potential and realize heir dreams. The ability to create impact through volunteering while developing one’s own self in the process is invaluable and incredibly satisfying to her. Sapna believes she is making a small but a significant difference and likes to be a positive force in the lives of these young girls, who often lack any other positive role model.
