Nehal Prajapati, a final year student of Guajrat Technology University, is a staunch believer in the phrase ‘little things can create change’. Nehal has helped cancer patients with pain relief and recovery during her work with Ashwin Maharaja Foundation in Ahmedabad. She has also volunteered for the National Integration Camp (organized by NSS) to foster youth involvement towards problems of India. The theme of this camp was ‘Ek Bharat Sreshtha Bharat’ symbolizing the exchange of social dialogue among 13 states of India. As a part of integration activities, cultures were exchanged through tree plantations undertaken in respective states. Nehal also partook in the strategic dialogues to improve the Indian education system in the camp. With the project ‘Vishwashala’ (NSS), she imparted education to the underprivileged people in a nearby slum and also taught them basic etiquettes. She also communicated and bonded with her students which in turned helped her become a more wholesome person. Nehal strongly resonates with each project she has volunteered on.
