Jhankhana started Vishawashala as a permanent project in 2017. She, along with her team provides basic education for slum children. These children do not have access to primary education due to economic situations. A research project has also been initiated to study their behavioral characteristics and ways to improve their life knowing their mental conditions and their beliefs. So far, almost 30 students have successfully learned to read by being part of this project.
Another project that is associated with Jhankhana is Joy of Giving. It is celebrated every year for 30 days. As part of this project, happy boxes were placed in college campuses and nearby places to collect unused or old clothes, toys, books and basic necessities which were then distributed to those in need. The collection drive is conducted before Diwali to make the joy of distribution those items two-fold.
