Ishan Upadhyay, currently studying in sixth grade, joined ‘Making A Difference’ group during his early school years as he wanted to do something for the society. At such a nascent stage, Ishan was already volunteering as a helping hand. To support this innate desire and willingness to make a difference, a group of individuals got together and created 'Making A Difference' group. When volunteering, Ishan believes in team spirit. As a part of the project ‘Khilta Phool’, he has been the Team leader in distributing jackets during the winter season. With the initiative ‘Parinda’, Ishan helped distribute more than 6500 pots to help the birds from dehydration in the summers. He also visited residents and encouraged them to come to the rescue of birds. Not only this, he also manages to take old age people on one-day picnics, volunteers to spreads awareness about importance of blood donation as well as handles crowd management during large-scale activities.
