Give Me Trees Trust
GiveMeTrees has a mission is to plant as many trees as possible in this country, with our main focus being the Peepal and Neem trees, apart from many other varieties of shade and fruit trees. It works with a network of Volunteers in finding the right locations to plant saplings, and also take care to maintain the planted saplings.
We have three active programs at Youngistaan Foundation through which we engage our volunteers. 50 Volunteers act as facilitators and mentors in the Bright Spark Education Programme building lesson plans, interacting with the children, facilitating teaching sessions and outdoor visits. Women of Courage Program (WOC) engages 32 volunteers to conduct Information workshops for adolescent girls in their schools.

Their Volunteers go around the city with the rescue vehicle and find out those who are lying on the road side – sick, homeless and hungry. They are either taken to shelter or hospital if they need any medical attention. The organizations like Hospitals and NGOs and members of the society also direct us to the needy destitute, sick or injured.

VOICE 4 Girls has a mission to enable marginalized adolescent girls in India to take charge of their futures by imparting critical knowledge (about health, safety, rights, education, and careers), spoken English, and life skills through activity based camps. The VOICE model engages volunteers – female college students – who are trained in content, teaching methodology and VOICE philosophy, and then placed at schools to teach 13-15-year-old girls.

Vikasana is an entirely student driven club, with 30+ members. But it is insufficient to cater to the needs of the society in which we aim to make an impact. We organize 10+ events in a year, partnering with various NGO’s and organizations. This calls for many resources to make it possible.
